Joe Landi Founder & CIO (Cool Idea Originator)
Joe Landi is an idea guy. Oh, he may have gone to art school (VCU-Go Rams!) with illustration in mind, but soon became drawn to advertising, design and conceptual thinking. Mostly, it was the challenge of creative problem solving that really got his juices going. Using the visual and the verbal sides of his brain to communicate the complex, simply. After years of award winning work as art and creative director at NJ and NY agencies, Joe knew the time was right for something better, smarter. It was time for Thinc. Since partnering with Merle Benny in 1996, Joe has applied his unique, often humorous, creative approach to branding, design, advertising, logos, taglines and naming for a growing roster of often unsuspecting, but always happy and satisfied clients.

Merle Benny is a person of many passions. A passion for life, creativity, good work(s), travel, food, color, even hats – which is a good thing, since she wears so many at Thinc. She’s a passionate and creative marketing pro and event manager. An excellent copywriter and idea generator. Merle has long been devoted to helping people looking to serve more, raise more, do more. She has applied her expertise to help nonprofits at Merle’s your “make something big, exciting and rewarding happen” person. This Rutgers alum (Go Scarlet Knights!) works with your team to maximize results. Call it branding, marketing, writing, event-planning/occasioning, development, or public relations. Merle mashes it all up, creatively, to grow your organization and get the results you want.
Duncan Pettigrew Storied Man with a Camera
Thinc. Video runs on, (by and through) Duncan. And Duncan runs on 15 years of writing and shooting, directing and producing film & video projects of all kinds. Beyond technical expertise, his greatest gift is storytelling. Stories that reach the mind, and touch the heart; making the all-important intellectual and emotional connection needed to inspire action. Get people to think, to feel/care, and you can get them to respond. Duncan gets it. He’s an artist and true professional who can work fast on a tight deadline with great results for an affordable price. There’s very little this Pratt grad (Go Cannoneers?) and video/filmmaker extraordinaire hasn’t done in entertainment, the corporate and nonprofit world, and with Thinc.
